- Hi...
I bought it from Dombivli, Dist, Thane, maharashtra where i live & it was priced Rs. 280 for 320 ml bottle... Seems working fine. But actually the problem with my car is completely different. I found out my Crank sensor is culprit for the Coolant Temp heat symbol & subsequent engine stall. I read somewhere that if the crank sensor is not working properly, though your car will start , but it will give jerk when in idle. also due to incorrect pulse sent by crank sensor fuel supply is effected, resulting wrong signals to thermostat & water pump , which results in coolant temp symbol on dashboard. It all fits.. I have asked new crank sensor renault make from Opera house,Mumbai which is costing me Rs. 3200/- with that I 've also asked for Gear knob to replace broken one of mine & accessory belt so that it can be also be replaced as it looks weary visually. The cost as below....... 1) Crank sensor for 1.5 dci K9k - Rs. 3200/- 2) Accessories Belt, Contitech make, 6PK1200.. Rs. 450/- 3) Gear Knob of old ZEN as Logan is in shortage Rs.180/-
How people says logan spares are costly... It's only mahindra who are making the service part very very very costly.
I've also enquired about the timing belt kit with water pump, It's costing only Rs. 4250/- where as in ASS they costs us for least Rs. 14,000/-to Rs. 19,000/-.
Thanks......
Vaibhav
From where did you get the costing of Rs 4250 for the timing belt kit and water pump. Are you sure its the genuine part as it is damn cheap compared to ASS. | |

| I wonder why the Crank sensor never showed up in the OBD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What does this mean? OBD Code P0337refers to The Crankshaft position sensor also known as the crank position sensor is an electronic device used in an engine to record the rate at which the crankshaft is spinning. This information is used by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module(ECM) to control ignition and fuel injection. The sensor system consists of a rotating part, typically a disc, as well as a static part, the actual sensor. When the engine is running, the high and low parts of the teeth cause the gap with the sensor to change. The changing gap causes the magnetic field near the sensor to change. The change in the magnetic field cause the voltage from the sensor to change. Symptoms Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0337 - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Lack/Loss of Power - Engine Stall Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0337 - Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted) - Crankshaft position sensor may be faulty - Signal plate may be damage - Starter motor may be faulty - Starting system circuit - Dead (Weak) battery The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: - The crankshaft position sensor (POS) signal sent to the ECM is low - The proper pulse signal from the crankshaft position sensor (POS) is not sent to ECM Possible Solutions - Charge battery - Repair harness or connector - Replaced Crankshaft Position Sensor. | |

| Thanks stu, The problem was detected in injectors, one injector was literally cracked & other was jammed in the piezoelectric wafer layer, Hence need to replace the . I done all this things in Delphi service centre in Mumbai. Also taken out the High Pressure fuel pump & Rail pressure & pressure regulator is completely working after servicing & cleaning. Today my dear will be ready with new delphi recon injectos ,now I'm concerned how the ECM will be programmed as per the new injectors . By the way I've asked the photographs of the failed injectors to delphi service person. Hope he will mail them to me. By the way stu ... The fault code they found was DF0054- Fuel pressure regulation function. vabs | |
