| My logan is a 1.6 model, with Power steering. I noticed that there was a lot of oil deposited where i parked. Found that the sensor 77 00 435 682 is leaking. I removed the sensor and found that the leakage is happening from the place where the plastic part merges with the metal nut. There also seems to be leak coming from the place where the electrical metal contact touches with the plastic body. Called up a Renault/Mahindra dealer, but the process seems to be very lengthy and costly. Anybody have any ideas where i can get this sensor ? | |

Were you able to solve this? I think my Logan 1.6 has a power steering oil leak too. The level has gone down and there is oil under the car.

| Also, are you taking your car to India Garage in Velachery? Is this a scam? I'm unable to think of a reason for that sensor to fail. | |

this i believe is the same part. though the no. is 7700435692 instead of 7700435682. i am trying to order it from china via escrow. cost is 10 us $ + 10 $ for shipping via china air parcel. It is currently out of stock at dacia forum. so that option is out. the cost there was 10.32 euros+ vat+ shipping at mahindra stations it is 5600 rs. + labour +taxes. In my car it is currenly leaking and it leaks right on top of the alternator coil. if the transducer / actuator function gets impaired then the power steering shall get affected. the current leakage level is negligible now due to high placed position of the sensor. located at a level very slightly lower than the power steering fluid reservoir.

| The power steering oil pressure transducer i ordered from china arrived in 1 months time. installed it. works well. leakage is gone. Have a part in spare as i had ordered 2. ( total cost 30 us dollars ). More and more options for getting parts from abroad for logan. Happy with this situation. | |

| yeah. specially coming from china.... But to be fair , superbly finished product. same weight, neat finish. hope it lasts as much as the original. ( i always have the spare). lowe on ebay delivered the IAC from germany in less than 10 days. The parts from china took like forever , though ultimately it was all in good order. | |

| not every replacement part from abroad is good though. i had purchased the front strut mounts from germany. no good. original gabriel struts and original renault bearings , i should have tried to get original mount pads too... i have already used the indian made ones and now these german ones. waste of money and time... | |

| I was able to feel a noise while turning right since last 1 month and the power steering fluid was also going down. Today I went for a checkup and found the same pressure switch part no 7700413763 leaking from plastic to metal joint. The Verito mechanic @ Rudra Automart , Asansol changed the switch and now its working fine. But the cost of pressure switch was amazingly high. I had to pay Rs 6045 for that! | |
