Stu has a New Car (second car)

Due to the wife and myself both working we decided to get a new car We have bought a Chevrolet Spark LS with every extra I need (Inc AC) which I wont need very often .We are leasing it at 110 euros a month for 48 months with the option of exchanging it for another or buying it
So I am looking forward to having a go in the wifes new car

Hi Stu,
I am amazed at the fact that coming from a land of worlds' great car makers , you prefer foreign cars.
Beat is nice and would've done well in india but for the cramped space . Quirky designs or concept like forms are appreciated usually by indians and 'european' looks are considered too staid by most javascript:emoticonp(''). thats why partly all manners of curves , trapezoids and even triangles are employed here in the designs by the suzuki and koreans and gladly lapped up by the public. i took test drive of the beat when they launched the one with diesel 3 motor pot. Very capable car but cramped by american standards ( even korean as the dna is daewoo ). Had difficulty getting in and out extracting my legs from beneath the low set steering. On the rear seat , the gap between b pillar and seat end curve is very small. so strictly for short people .
The chevy guys use decent quality stuff inside and the build is usually good. have found the chevy bumpers to be very soft here in india.

I have just returned from Spain and checked out the car it is large enough for myself with 1 meter 80 and has room enough in the back for a crate of beer so thats it ! The logan is the main car and the Chevvy is for Shopping ! BUT !!!! We will drive it to Spain in May on a 5500 km round journey MAD ????? Yes that's me hahaha I am British we are known for our extravagance

Chevrolet Beat aka Spark is really a good car.
One thing i noticed about Chevy engines is they tend not to knock even say in 4th gear and at 20 kmph on odometer

Update on the Spark ! Its a nice little car But I wont take it on the Autobahn ! it is not made for steep hills ! and the Trucks over here Do over 80kmh on the Hills
So its the Dacia on the Motorways !
