| The rim width seems okay. I checked the Apollo Tyres website and they recommend 5.0-6.0 inches width for 185/70-14. I am not sure if Mahindra/Renault recommends the same. It is listed in the link below:
http://www.apollotyres.com/downloads/passengercar_acelere.pdf
Stu, for a long time I wanted to upgrade to 15" but the OEM recommended tyre size is 185/65-15 and that size is not available with any of the manufacturers here. Apollo Tyres have it listed in their website but nobody has stock of the same.

| My opinion is somebody swapped the strut in your absence. Swapping will take 15minutes maximum. It is virtually impossible to bend it without causing other damages. Yes, its the rod that is tightened to the apron that we are talking about. |

| well i dont think thats possible, i mean i never left my car at the service center and each and everytime i took it there was standing next to it no matter how long they took,
also hows it possible in 15 mins i mean when they changed my shockers and before when they checkd them both the times they took the complete shocker out of the car and to do so they had to put the jack first then remove the tyre then deassembled the brake system and all from the shocker rod and then they unscrewd the shocker from under the bonet and to only take both of the shockers out they took more then half n hour and more time was taken to fit as they had to carefully put evrything back, so its impossible to change both the shockers in 15 mins or even in a hour..
and both of my shockers was bent not only one... |

| With hydraulic jack and tool, its no big deal to remove the four nuts from the wheels. Remove the 2 bolts from the 'knuckle' connecting the lower end of the strut. Loosen the nut from the top and you have the entire assembly in your hands. Yes, may take a little more 15 minutes. |

| I didn't know it was both the struts. In that case, the chances that the struts were swapped is really doubtful. |

| hahah Martin, i am in no way doubting the strength of the Logan. What i meant is that back here in India, people who drive more ideally go for the Diesel versions. So.. _________________ LOGANIZE!! ;-) |

| hey guys i went to Swami Automobiles a mahindra dealership in chandigarh today for sum accidental job of my logan and dere i saw a diesel logan wich has done more then 2 and a half lakh lilometers i askd the owner about performance he said its working perfectly alright no extra maintainance cost just normal service and still geting a mileage of 18 to 20 kms/ltr.. i read on internet somwhere that this 1.5 k9 diesel engine of renault has a life of more then 3 lakh kms... well if it actuly does this much then its the best car in its segment i mean hundai verna has a 1.5 crdi diesel engine tata is using its 1.5 diesel engine in both ways crdi wich they call dicor and tdi with the same sign tdi ford is using a 1.4 duratec crdi engine in new ikon n figo which was earlier bieng used in fiesta and then the last fiat 1.3 crdi multijet engine well i have driven all of them the best ride is of verna none of them has a life of 3 lakh kms i m sure about that only fiat 1.3 engine can compete renault 1.5 but still m sure fiat wont last till 3 lakh......... so its logan yo man..)
