Had posted a query on the contact form, on the Mahindra Verito website. It's almost 10 days and am yet to hear from them. Things like this worry me about being a Mahindra customer. It they can't process a sales enquiry email, what is the service I can expect?

They will respond to you soon(Within a day) or you will directly get a call from any of the dealers if it was a sales inquiry with respect to a particular city

@ +91 9881157613 , he's inscahrge of the weastern region for sure.. can't say about south.



They are usually slow.. but if you escalate to this level, they respond... sometimes you need to go higher though !!

Hi Parag, Thank you.
You're right on the above. An escalation did generate a response. I posted a follow up query and that's gone to sleep at Mahindra's end. Service (and spares) are my big apprehension.

Post one more mail to them reminding that they owe you an reply or followup. I ALWAYS find that they sleep off. Need to follow multiple times to get something done. I donno how Mahindra top brass mentors these people..

Service has been an issue with them. I don't think they realize how bad or how far behind they are, compared to other companies.
But if you keep at it... involve people from Mahindra, then they begin to respond.
One good thing about involving people from Mahindra customer care, is that most of them are technical people. They are unlike usual customer care executives from other companies... that may also be their weakness at times.
They are overwhelmed by this changed customer profile... and are unsure of how to deal with them.. there are no established protocols or legacy in the company.
Doesn't mean that their old customers are an extremely happy lot. I've seen a lot of their semi-urban to rural, or rustic customers being very unhappy with their service... but they don't escalate the complain.. keep quiet or do not trust a customer feedback form!
It is interesting to observe these customers being unhappy with the service and yet stand and admire the Scorpio... that's still their ultimate vehicle!!! The quintessential rich farmer, the moderately successful businessman, the local strongman or the all white clad aspiring politician.. they all go for the, as you say' fully loaded Scorpio'!!!

Parag, curious how you would profile a Logan/Verito owner (as I'm yet to figure out Mahindra's psychoanalysis of the 'Verito man').

don't know about M&M's psychoanalysis .... but I'd rekon a large majority of Logan/ Verito owners are from Urban and Educated background.
