| I feel there is speedo error in Indian Logan to the tune of +10%. Have any of you guys felt it?
Because google calculates distance as X, then my Logan shows X+10%. Is it due to smaller diameter tyres in Indian Logan? I guess in other countries have 15 inch wheels
If anyone has GPS please measure the speed using GPS and compare it with Odo speed and post the difference.
If Speedo error of 10% is true then we should consider this during our fuel efficiency calculation.

| http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedometer | Quote: | | Most speedometers have tolerances of some ±10%, mainly due to variations in tire diameter. Sources of error due to tire diameter variations are wear, temperature, pressure, vehicle load, and nominal tire size. Vehicle manufacturers usually calibrate speedometers to read high by an amount equal to the average error, to ensure that their speedometers never indicate a lower speed than the actual speed of the vehicle, to ensure they are not liable for drivers violating speed limits. |

| Actually it is good ! It stops us thrashing the car when we see we are heading to 150 60 we let off and drop to about 130 and that in fact is 120 70mph and thats a good fuel saving speed anyway
