PostSubject: Hi!   Sun Aug 29, 2010 10:34 pm

Hi team,

Just enrolled today at this site. Pretty cool. I hv been a proud owner and my 5th vehicle in the last 14 yrs. I am just a very ordinary staid person but once at the back of my castrol edge driven diesel can give any vehicle the run for its money. This vehicle actually purrs... Hv driven around 40k in the last 2 yrs and have been rewarded amply vth a cool 18kmpl --city driving guys.

Just checking out other sites too. Has anybody mated a 5spd AT to the present gb.

Pls do reply

?
There is no automatic Gearbox for the Logan and to find a Renault one and fit it would be a immense job .Maybe from a Clio .But the work would be to much

quite surprising that the Dacia/ Logan does not come with a AT.

I do agree it is a class car, but in this horrible city traffic, a foot of the pedal is always welcome. Maybe the guys at Mahindra must do something about this.

A compromise of 5 kmpl is still welcome.

Who Knows It may happen but until then look at the new arrival from the Original Logan makers "Dacia" and it is still a cheap car

The Duster looks neat considering the legacy of the DACIA.

With all those super combos put in, must be one helluva Suv to watch out for.

With Renault seperated in India, we can watch this space for their new muscles.

PostSubject: Re: Hi!   Fri Dec 03, 2010 7:47 pm

Hi all,

Been away for quite some time.

Logan DLX has done around 44k today. went checking with Michelin guys in Navi Mumbai. They said 16K for Energy XM1+ with balancing and alignment as goodies for 185/75 R14.

Any idea guys, about any good upgrades. The Michelin website mentions about 195/60 R 15. Any body tried it before.

My experience with the BS Turanza ER60 for Santro was quite good.

Any suggestions on an optimum price range. The 16K seems quite a huge amount. Atleast that is what i feel.

I can continue for another 4500 kms - that would be another 60 days.

Any suggestions welcome.

I have the Bridgestone Turaza ER60, 185/70-14. If you plan to use 15" tyres then you will have to change your rims too.

The Logan can use 14 and 15 inch wheels without voiding the warranty ! Well at least over here they can 99% of the euro Logans run on 15 inch
