| hi Guys,
What is the recommended gear shift pattern for GLS 1.6? I shift the gears after raising to around 2000rpm. Is this proper?
I was shifting from 1st gear to second gear at around 1200 rpm and other gears at 1500 rpm. But later I was suggested by service guys to shift at 2000 rpm for all gears. But, if I do so, the engine noise is high at 1st gear and also my mileage looks to have dropped.
Please suggest. | |

| I shift when I feel like it.. Haven't noticed rpm. I guess for max mileage it is 1750rpm. | |
