| Hi,
The mileage may reduce to an extent as the petrol will have to be pulled from a greater depth from the tank.
Regards, Kaustuv. | |

| Well ... pulling petrol and gunge theory both are seems not quite correct to me. Although your car has enough petrol in reserve to fight sludge problem and infact you have lighter car when you have less petrol (less means not reserve) and try to feel the heaviness in full tank (55 litrs). So guess what is correct? | |

| In the bottom of your tank you have a filter which keeps most of the Gunge at bay and for those of you who fill up with metal canisters (like I used to in the army ) Gunge can be a real problem it is very small bits that get into the injectors and clog them up this is one reason not to go down to below reserve | |

| exactly it will misfire and your fuel consumption will also go up (I doint know why ) I had this on my Iveco it will also get progressivly harder to start but a little tip here !!! The 1400 does sometimes tend to take a little bit longer to start after sitting in the warm (in your case HOT) it is I think a air bubble in the system but it sorts itself out "ANYBODY ELSE NOTICE THIS ? | |

I've noticed that my 1.6 takes a little longer to start sometimes. Did not attribute it to the heat though.. | |
