Has anyone tried installing better spark plugs? Will installing them simply increase performance or fuel efficiency as well.

I want more money and need more as well
Honestly though other plugs will not help you could try the airfilter conversion you will only get max 5 kmh more out of it so just settle for the
setup you have

Hi,

You can check for the performance spark plugs at Performance Zone. It is located in Delhi only. The website is www.performancezone.co.in. I have once sent a query for performance products available for logan and they have provided me the following details for performance spark plug.

Platinum Plugs-Rs 2400, Double Platinum
Plugs- Rs 2500,Iridium Plugs- Rs 2600

Performance Spark Plug Wires-Rs 4600

However, please ensure that that the existing wiring is not changed. This will void your warranty and if possible try to get feedback of the same from some persons who are using the same.

Regards,
Kaustuv.

You cannot change the wiring by changing your sparkplugs

Hi,

Even a silly person knows that changing a spark plugs doesn't require change in wiring. However, for installation of performance spark plugs, it is recommended to use different wire sets for better performance. That is the only reason I have also provided the wires in the estimate provided above. Attached link will provide better insight into the same.

An interesting comparison between normal spark plugs and iridium spark plugs provided by Denso.

Interference is pronounced in case of iridium spark plugs as a result of which the wires are recommended. The question is never about "letting down", it is about getting an extra bit out the same car. Performance for me in not "Digital" its "Fuzzy". Based on the driving preference and pattern, performance modifications enables the car to perform better compared to stock. So there is nothing to do about Winning Team, it is all about getting the car to perform better and better. That is the purpose of modification.

You own a 1600 Logan which from the factory was set to give you the best in fuel consumption and comfort for the price you have paid
You can do as much as you want to make it a bit more racey but Plugs wont change a thing .If you want to get going then get the head skimmed
get some disks on the back (Braking) change the air intake system and also have a look at at having a Chip conversion, lower the suspension and get some fancy stickers put on the back saying I wish I had bought a BMW
And lets not forget i drive on the fastest roads in the world Germany .I reach my GPS 160 kmh and that is good enough for me and my passengers
and not to forget my braking system and with my stock cables I have no interference on my Radio or USB or Card which tells me I would be wasting my hard earned money on this stuff
as usual just my thoughts
and also rules 1 and 2 apply
