| [img:3479] https://mahindralogan.forumotion.com/[/img] Hi Guys, I got this bluetooth mirror from an automobile accessory exhibition. Have been using it for a while now. Seems like a useful device. You can upload your phone book by bluetooth. It supports voice dialling. The number is flashed on the screen ( thats a display otherwise behind a mirror surface ) when the calls comes in... you only have to press a button to receive. The speakers are loud and clear enough. The microphone is adequately sensitive (could have been a little better, but it might pickup background noise ). You can use an ear piece in case you don't want the other passangers to hear the call. ( on the right side of the mirror, has a magnetic mount, so is easy to put back ). The device has got an FM band that can be synchronized with the car music player. You can then receive the call on the car speakers. You can couple two phones with the device. It's got 30seconds of recording facility that can be used to record phone numbers on a phone conversation. It's quite cool... and I don't have the bluetooth receiver in the music system. It cost me Rs 3750/- in the exhibition. Seems it should be around 4k in a shop. It just clips on to the existing mirror. | |

| And yes.. there's an in car charger that connects to the cigerrette lighter socket. The battery standby time is pretty good... don't remember the specs though... can post it later. You only have to couple your mobile phone once with the device. The receiver will eceive the call sif your phone bluetooth is switched on. | |

| Nice thing to have for sure.
I feel that upgrading the CD player (HU) for 8-10K is a better option as the stock one on the older cars (before the "Play") lacks basic things such as MP3 support. You can get MP3 support (with USB) and Bluetooth HU's for around 8K

| yup... i do have MP3 support, and USB on the music system... the bluetooth one was launched after I got my Logan in March 2009. Didn't want to change the music player only for the receiver.. this was a cheaper option ! | |

| Not Bad for 4K, I have seen these earlier as well, the only problem to me is talking with people in d car! So i prefer using a Bluetooth handsfree but the FM transmitter function as well as number display is an awesome addon!
BTW, does the packaging have some website mentioned?

| Any feedback on battery life? What is the warranty period?
Also, will it survive the summer heat in a locked and parked car? Do we need to detach it and carry it around?
Does the mirror have a day/night mode like the normal logan mirror?

| sorry guys.. couldn't access the net earlier.
About battery life it says : it is powered by re-chargeable, replaceable Li-ion battery. It takes two to three hours to charge the battery and can be re-charged hundreds of times.
I have not had to charge it frequently. The stand by and talk time is pretty adequate.
You can charge it in the car or in the USB port of a computer. The data cable is provided with the device and it plugs into the 12Volt DC charger or the computer via a USB port.
The Operating temperature is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius Storing temperature is 0 to 6- degrees Celsius
I've never detached and carried it around, although it's not difficult to do so. I've driven the car in over long distances and parked it in the open sun. So far i've not noticed any problem.
The mirror does not have the day night mode like the logan one.
It only says 30 days replacement warranty against defects
The address is same as the ope given on their website (www.igadgetsindia.com)
