Peeling paint issue.

Do you think it should be covered under paint warranty?
Has anybody else faced similar problems ?

I think it should be covered by the warranty if this area has no accident damage (bumps and re-paint).

Yes. please show it to the dealer and if necessary, comunicate directly with the company. If the bumper has not been subjected to some accident or dent, then it must be done FOC

Yup.. hope so.
Only problem... the bumper got scraped a bit on the left side in the city traffic. Got some scratch marks..but it's no where near the peeling paint.

Will speak with the company directly if necessary.

Do take it to the workshop.

They got part of the bumper repainted under warranty.
Had to wait for two days for company approval.

my car is two yeas and 6 months old now... diamond white colour so i have observed that the colour has somewhat lost its original shade and now i looks a little on paler side..

contacted 3M and they suggested to go for 3M Surface Refinement treatment and the cost for the same is 3200.
it involves 4 stages like first something wud be applied which will remove minute scratches and then very fine compound will be applied
3rd glaze and finally polish..

what shud i do.. need ur expert views my fellow loganizers...

I think the warranty we have is for Anti-Rust and Anti-Perforation.
5 yrs and 10 yrs respectively.

Regarding paint finish, I doubt if any manufacturer here would want to give a benefit to customer.

I know of this 3M treatment that is being spoken of. It can really make a difference. However, I am a little concerned about the longevity of this finish. Still wouldnt mind paying 3200/- even if its for about 18 months. say.

Isn't 6 months too less? Not that 3200 over 6 months is asking too much.
But I wish it'd at least stay some more while, before I think of going in for another round Smile

Not bad. I was myself looking at getting this treatment done after my car completed 3 years.

My idea was to get all minor dents removed and have get the car 3M treated once in 3 years.
