| I was trying to take out the tail lamp covers but couldn't manage..  any pointers on where the locks/screws are located ? |

| These might help. See those golden coloured fixed threaded bolts. 2 nos of these. Hope it helps.   |

| doesnt the space between the tail light and the car body collect a lot of debris like leaves and twigs ...its bothersome |

| There is a very small gap between the tail lamp and the water drain channel of the boot. Tiny leaves and twigs do tend to accumulate there. But then, that is also the case near the bonet and ventilation grill.
I guess I got used to it. |
