| Dear Friends, I always use Bharat Pertrolium's High Speed Diesel and fill it from a same petrol pump which is reliable.. I havnt used any other brand and changed the Petrol Pume till date. Is it a problem if I use any other brand of High Speed diesel in between? or else I use normal fuel in between.? Another thing is what are the benefits of using premium fuels such as High Speed Diesel, Turbojet if any. Sorry Saumil, there will some thread already somewhere in the forum but I could not resist myself. Sorry for my ignorance on this subject. Cheers Vyenky | |

| I would not bother using High speed diesel Diesel is Diesel in my eyes ! it gets pulled into the motor and burnt ! Ok Petrol has different Octanes and the LOGAN motor is made for Eastern European countrys with a very raw fuel but I dont realy think with Diesel there can be a big difference .In fact here in Germany they use Chip pan Oil in OLD Mercedes benz and the Diesel on sale has a certain amount of Raps oil in it

| Time to flash Stu's rule of him being always right. I dont know too many details in this. However i will share one thing which i experienced with my petrol engine. With Indian Oil, petrol i get a little of higher mileage as compared to petrol from HP. However apart from mileage there is no other difference as far as i noticed. I have not tried any premium so far, as i dont want my engine to have bed of roses and be habituated to that. | |

| Used shell normal diesel initially, then switched to HP normal diesel. And now back to shell normal.
Never used premium, never will.
All cases, mileage has been steady at 17.5-19.0 in cities and the Angel's been breathing easy. | |
