| The interior light goes off slowly after the doors are locked from outside. I think it takes upto 20 or 40 seconds to do so. This feature is in the DLX too. | |

| Hi Everyone, I have a LOGAN 1.5 DLS Model. I just want to know whether Logans central Lock gets automatically Locked once the car get into motion or after some interval of time. This is a safety feature not seen in my logan. Please tell me is this due to some fault or the company forgot to put this feature | |

| Hi Pranav, The feature you are looking for is only available if your car has remote locking facility. It is available in the top end models. Otherwise, you can get a remote lock fitted for your car. I have done the same. Now the lock get automatically engaged after few seconds of starting the car. With Regards, Kaustuv Goswami. | |

| Logan central locks do not get automatically locked. This is not a standard feature of Logan excluding may be the Edge Connect. One has to manually press the central lock key on console. However such a feature comes with the externally fitted remote controlled central locking system where in central lock gets activated in some while once the car ignition state is reached. | |

| Stu, as a concept of central locking that is in market down here A switch which on clicking locks all four doors at a go and allows any door to be either opened up by clicking the same key again or by opening each door lock independantly but manually lifting the door lock knob is central locking. So though the doors are centrally locked, they can still be opened manually by lifting the lock knob and have got nothing to do with battery operations. | |

| Stu, i have one question. if you are locking your car by pressing key on console dash, are you not able to open the doors manually by lifting the door lock knob. Or is it a case where this manual lifting procedure will not work without battery. i am confused.... | |

| If you are knocked out, the best option for somebody saving you is to break the window glass. Locking of doors while driving/Autolocking doors are matter of personal choices. However, manufacturers always recommend to lock the doors to prevent any accidental opening while the vehicle is in motion. | |

| If you have closed your door you will not need to lock it and you cant lock it until its closed SO it will stay closed even when unlocked and the time it takes to break a window and open the door is a long time especialy if it is a lady trying to get you out or even a child ! But guys its up to you what you do I suppose there as many arguements for as against Mine stay open | |
