| Has anyone got success for DIY OBD scanner, attaching to your Logan? Have a look at this - http://www.chinavasion.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=obd Any one has any idea which interface cable will fit in Logans socket and software to be used with codes defined? | |

| My ScanGaugeII is permanently attached to the OBDII socket in the glove compartment. Besides reading and clearing any engine fault codes, it is a terrific aid in day to day driving as it really assists in my fuel economisation attempts.
Got it from the US at approx Rs.6700 (converted) about a year ago. Works perfectly. http://www.scangauge.com/

| The link I posted above has info like - we can take a backup of exisitng setup by reading and saving all data to a disk based file in computer and later if something goes wrong one can easily replace config with the backedup one. But dont know if anyone has used till yet ..... also I saw some offers on EU forums about remapping ECU using such softwares under EU 250 - 300. Dont know whats the truth. Also vsuprak which cable you are using can you please post details here - better whith pics. | |

If i get the software for the 1.5dci, then ill scout for the cable. Ill probably make a dry run first to see what all is possible. I need the software first
