| Seems to be a very decent offer. I dont really know many dealers in bangalore who'd offer that much for buying your tires.
If he's willing to buy them and offer money as well, I think its a good deal |

| Hi All,
The stock tires of mine has given me excellent service. I have almost completed 45k and the tires are still going on okay. However, they have worn out to some extent so I am planning to get the same replaced. At the same time, I am also planning to replace the existing rims with alloys. Going through the posts in this thread, I found that Bridgestone has been recommended by maximum number of members. In Bridgestone India's website, I found the Potenza RE88 195/70/R14 most suitable for my use, considering the fact, other than city driving, I also do highway visit quite frequently as well as mountain driving. Please provide me some feedback about the tire or if you have any other better options available.
Please find the link to the same below:
http://www.bridgestone.co.in/tyre/tyreselector/bypattern/bypattern.asp?pattern_id=5C59
Also can you please suggest whether Plati will be a good alloy to use. In case if you have any better suggestion, do let me know. Approx price for the same will be highly appreciated.
Waiting for your expert suggestions eagerly,
Regards, Kaustuv. |

| I am planning to upgrade to 15' wheels with 185/65-15 size tyres. But the problem is that size of tyre is not available here. 185/65-15 is the OEM recommended upgrade. Apollo Tyres do have it in their online brochure but it is not available in the market so far. I will try some more and if I don't manage to find one then I'll most likely upgrade to 195/60-15. I plan to use Apollo wheels and their 'Accelere' brand tyres or may be GoodYear. |

| Hi Rajesh,
As per Bridgestone India website, it is mentioned 195/60R15 88V is the upsize specification for Logan. You can look for Potenza RE88 which I have mentioned in my previous post. The above mentioned specification is available in Potenza RE88 if you are not getting the desired upsize in Apollo.

| So far I have received quotes between Rs3300 and Rs3600 for tyres (Apollo, GoodYear and another brand which I don't remember well). I am not considering Michelin as of now because its quiet costly. I still have to find out how much JK Tyres will cost for 195/60-15. |

Just changed my tires and alloys. I have used the standard profile only. Tires are Yokohama A drive AA01 and the alloys were Plati PY109.
