| Finally after 4 months and 6 thousand Kms of my Logan experience, I feel the decision of going ahead with Logan (against all negeative comments like "Buying a Taxi" and "Cheap Car" etc.) has been vindicated on all fronts. Beside general city driving, I took the vehicle out last month for 2000Km drive around Karnataka to benchmark the vehicle.
Mileage : City driving with 50% of time AC on: 16 KMPL - 18KMPL High speed driving / racing on highways for 500Km Bench mark with two breaks: 13 to 15 KMPL (went upto 160Kmph / AVG 120 KMPH). Steady driving on highways (max upto 100 for 1000KM bechmark with 4 breaks) : 26 KMPL. Hill driving / extreme bad roads : About 15KMPL. One more observation: I use plain disel only. But when filled from Indianoil, it gives around 18 AVG in city, filled from HPCl gives 16. Not sure if anyone else would agree to this or what is the reason behind.
Ride Comfort : I had my entire family (5 Adults, 2 child) on this trip and not an inch left out in the luggage compartment. Irrespective of this load , travel , speeding up, Hill roads was a breeze (160 torque too good). At 150+ speed the vehicle was rock solid. In bad roads the inside acoustics of the vehicle was a downer. JK Tyres definitely is stable but accounted for this bad acoustics.
Trip Map (barring side trips) : Bangalore -> Hassan -> Belur -> Hornadu -> Sringeri -> Sagar -> Honnavar -> Murudeshwar -> Marawnte Beach -> Udupi -> Malpe -> Manipal -> Dharmastahala -> Kukke -> Madikeri -> Mysore -> Bangalore. https://i.servimg.com/u/f74/13/24/42/57/karnat10.gif https://i.servimg.com/u/f74/13/24/42/57/dscn3111.jpg

| Hi Surya, The overall road condition was good. Bangalore to Belur was a breeze. T he last 75Km to Hornadu was terrible. The bye pass between Hornadu to Sringeri through the hills was good experience about 17KM was bad out of 75Km. Sringeri to Sagar through State highways via Tirthahalli was 70% good and 30% morderate. In sagar I had visited places like Sigandoor (off from the highways) Road was 90% bad. There after all the roads were good till i reached national highway 48, which is awful. Kukke to madikeri stretch was reasonably good (very narrow though) barring the last 50KM which is bad. Maddikeri to Bangalore , Fantastic barring may be some 25KM. | |

| Generally i fill up the vehicle once a month on Saturdays. I do about 650KM a month in city, and usually fill up the vehicle in the morning. Both pumps are about a km from my residence.. | |
