I have a GLX 1.4 and I drive normally at around 60-70 kms/hr usually 2000-2500 rpm. My car has done about 1400 kms and gives about 10-11 kms/ltr. When I asked the dealer he said it is quite common and almost all petrol logans give around 10-11. Is that true ? I am think it is quite less, can any one of u having petrol version tell me how to get it to atleast 14-15 if not more ?

I also have 1.4 GLX and it has done 5,660 Kms. It's second service is due now. Till today I got 9.5 to 10 Kmpl with 100% AC in Mumbai and 13.5 to 14 Kmpl on Express Way with 100% AC.

Service center claim that the avarage should improve after 2nd service. Will post the improved average in Nov. 3rd week.

I get 12-13 kpl with A/C on in city. Add 2-3 in highway.

- best is to always try to stay between 1500 - 2500 rpm.

I use to get only 7.00 in the City after 2nd service now i get 10 KM with 100% AC. on highways i get 13-14.00 with 100% AC

In this winter season i.e. with no A/C on, I am constantly getting 15+ in city driving. Last time I got 16.71!! Before that it was 15.
Surprising, considering I have 205 wide tyres.. but I am not complaining
