| guys, in some past posts as per my understanding we are discussing about the sudden accelaration from stationary and how fast it happens in logan. Correct me if wrong...
Now if this is the point of discussion, my point is when doing so i.e. when pressing gas from stationary, there is a feeling that its not accelarating enough. this feeling comes from the foot on gas pedal, from engine feel and from a feel of car movement.
but at the same time has anyone noticed 1. the speedometer 2. the tachometer as to what readings it shows 3. how soon just after accelarating you need to brake again
even though you are feeling it is not enough, i feel it is sufficient from the readings.
like after reading this post i experimented and i noted readings of the rpm at almost 2.5 and speed almost to 30 on 1st gear within quite a quicke time. However i am unable to measure this time factor accurately. But approximately it would be some 1 and half seconds from stationary. All this was with A.C. at the same time i had a feeling of not being accelarating fast enough but hey very next moment i had to push the break pedal and all my momentum wasted... cant do much about it though as it is related to personal driving patterns | |
