| Air flow from the duct is not changing as per the flow direction selection,contacted the service center and they have asked to keep vehicle in the work shop for two days as the whole dash board has to be removed for damper repair. Did anybody faced such problem if so what was the repair done. | |

It is possible that the cable which controls the direction has cut or come off. If that is the case, it will require opening of the dashboard and Mahindra will keep the vehicle overnight at the service center. Make sure that you are shown the part which is being changed just to make sure that it cannot be reused by making some adjustment. Normal practice is to replace the part even if it can be "adjusted" and reused. Also, ask them the following: 1. Provide an estimate for the job and confirm the availability of the part. 2. In case the problem does not get rectified afte the job, what will they do? (Will they charge you?)
Mahindra is known for blind troubleshooting. So your questions will help in keeping them a bit cautious.
I personally do not prefer to leave my car overnight due to issues with my service center ver 7 years. But it should not be a problem.
