PostSubject: Moving On...   Thu Aug 28, 2014 6:00 pm

After having spent almost 5 and 1/2 years with my 1.4 GLX, I am finally moving on to another car.

Decision to dispose off the 1.4 GLX after having driven it for almost around 45k kms. was not spontaneous or made at will but rather a more thoughtful one.

Reasons that made me take this decision include
- Last year I had my alternator belt torn which also had damaged the pulley. Repairs costed me around 27k and car was off road for almost 10 days. Not because it required 10 days workmanship but because parts had to be ordered from elsewhere and thus managed.
- Couple of months back I noticed the A.C. not cooling at all. Upon getting it checked it was discovered that A.C. coil is damaged due to oil and dust. Had to be replaced. Costed almost 15k and coincidently Verito coil fits in and hence the job was done. Otherwise there are hardly any Logan coils with service centers.
- Service Centers have now almost stopped paying any attention to Logan owners. They use them only as a money making opportunity. All the times they crib about parts not being available and thus difficult to complete repairs job.

Above instances provoked a thought which said "Selling this car would be nightmare if I waited for more years from now. I can land up in a situation where I might not get a penny for this wonderful machine. Moreover I am not in situation to keep more than a couple of cars or afford a new one without selling one"

With this I posted advertisements at Quickr, OLX, Carwale etc.. and also visited car dealers. And I was bang right. There are hardly any takers. Specially since this is a petrol version. Not a single response from any of the online posts. This bothered me real time.

Finally it is getting sold. I managed to get a dealer who agreed to take it and all I am getting is 170k. But I am OK as I want to get over with this...

All the best to all Loganizers on this forum. It was really a pleasure to be part of this forum for all these years.

Bye Bye ! I hope you get a problem free car ! But from what I read into your post it is not the car that is the problem it is the Mechanics who do not seem to have any idea how to fix stuff ! its a pity
