Brakes not effective

In my 3.5 years logan with 75000+ kms on the odo, Iam experiencing brake issues.
In bumper to bumper traffic when I start applying brakes, the pedal travels longer and the brake bite happens only at the end of the travel.

I gave it to service center for checking, they bleed the brake twice and adjusted the rear drum. But still it has not improved. Any idea as what would be causing this issue?

Have you ever changed the brakes and disks on your car ?? at 75000 km I find it disgusting that your car has not had new brakes fitted ! Get them done or kill someone ! The ball is in your court

I have changed the brake pads thrice (This brake pad is 15,000 km old).
Regarding the brake shoes I am running on the original ones. They still have the brake lining left.

The point here is to understand the problem area, so let me list down the possible things. Let me know which one can be the possible reason,

1) Brake shoes are not effective anymore, need a change
2) The brake bleeding was not done properly in the last two times( 2 times within 2 weeks) they did
3) The vacuum creator is not working properly
4) Need a complete change of brake fluid as it may be contaminated
5) The rear brake cylinders are not working as expected

to test the vacuum creator put your foot on the brake press hard and now start the motor you should feel the pedal move down
if it does then the CV is ok

If you pump the brake pedal does it get hard if yes its air !Now you have to find where the air is coming in

Great Stu ! When the engine is on and when I pump the brake pedal, it starts getting little harder. So I guess it is brake bleeding that was not done properly(Though it was done twice in the last 2 weeks by the service center)

Did you do what i said about (WITH ENGINE TURNED OFF) press the brake hard and then start the engine and the pedal must move down ! also look at the back brakes from underneath the car and look on the inside of the rims for oil ! It could be the calliper is leaking
