It is in Romanian BUT it is done mainly with numbers and signs

| Earlier I had posted about the 'kat-kat-kat' noise that comes from the engine occassionally. So after Ramy suggested I take it to the service center I did go there today, he ran the diagnostics and said its all okay. Between the laptop and the diagnostic point there was a box, not sure about the funcion of the box. Do you people know what it is for? I will post a picture shortly. | |

| That box gives out numbers that tell the mechanic what IF anything is wrong or HAS BEEN wrong with the motor (Good stuff as well)
you can buy it on ebay for yourself and you can TELL the garage what is wrong

| No one knew what is the box for they only attach the ECU to the computer, also there is no lcd in it may be its a fault detector but why connecting it as we already connect the cr to the PC | |

| After I had the car checked with the diagnostics kit, I felt an improvement in the acceleration. But before I left the service center the service advisor said everything is normal. I assumed he left the values as it is. I was sure the mileage would be down a bit. My doubts were confirmed when at the next refuelling session I got an average of 18kms/ltr compared to the earlier 19kms/ltr. I am not complaining because the car feels good to drive. I encountered the same kat-kat-kat noise yesterday night again and I think there may be some connection with the a/c. It vanished after a few minutes. I will be taking it to the service center again. | |

i had bought the Scangauge II from USA. It is $160 and comes with an OBDII to RJ45 cable to connect between the units. Whether this cable can be used separately with a computer is not known to me... | |

very reasonable price I must say also ap person mentioned that it works with Dacia Logan. Worth of trying.
Specially in service centers they charge Rs 380+tax to fix OBD computer on request.
