| I was wondering if we can enhance the reverse light illumination by changing the bulb to a more powerful one or by making a separate arrangement on the rear with a powerful bulb assembly and having it connected. I have seen this being done by a friend of mine owning a Bolero, recently we had been to a place in the interiors of Maharashtra where we stayed overnight, the parking area was very dark hence while reversing I felt the need of having a more powerful reverse lamp. My friend could manage it easily as the area behind his vehicle was better illuminated because of the extra fitting. Can we folks think of something like this for our Logans? Same with the cabin light, with the advent of LED bulbs which are more powerful , long lasting and compact, can we think of having better lighting for our cabins as it might come in handy. Of course we need to give a thought to the electricals that one would tamper for this change, but how safe and practical would this be? Has anyone tried this? Or any thoughts and suggestions?

| Hi Siddarth,
I agree that the light from the reverse lamp and in cabin lamps is low. For the cabin, i recently bought the LED Roof light and LED bulbs for the indicator which you can install in the reverse lamp yourself. LED definitely is much brighter than the stock bulbs. Try this for roof light: http://www.snapdeal.com/product/cartime-16-smd-domeroof-light/143796613? for reverse lamp: http://www.snapdeal.com/product/cartime-22-smd-car-and/1020582568?
The best part is that you dont have to cut any wires as these go directly in to the socket and will not void the warranty.

| jUST BUY ANOTHER lAMP AND JOIN IT AND MOUNT IT UNDER OR ON TOP OF THE BUMPER This looks pretty good and you could fit a couple into the bumper just like the reversing sonars are fitted http://www.ebay.de/itm/2x-9W-White-Daytime-Running-Eagle-Eye-Light-Round-LED-DRL-Car-Backup-Lamp-/390635916171?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item5af3b70b8b | |

| Am not sure of other states but here in Kerala there is a ruling against DRL and LED extra fittings. You could get a fine of about Rs2000 or Rs2500. | |

| I would say that that would be for using them as Driving lights (or just as make the car look Jazzy lights ) but as a reversing light they cannot complain | |
