| normally unit used in india is kilometers and not miles. |

| Hi folks , Ive just sent in my DLX for the ist paid service today, which should be ideally done in 18 months or 30000kms. Ive done about 20000 kms. I got a call sayng that the total service cost would be about Rs. 5500. he said Rs. 3200 for the filters etc; Rs. 1200 for the paid service and then the consumables which could cost another 800 - 1000 Rs. Does this sound normal. At this rate, it would mean that for every 12 months (I generally do about 7000 kms in 6 months) - I have to shell out about 11,000Rs close to Rs. 1000 a month on maintenance alone.
Any thoughts? experiences? PLease let me know |

| It is the correct cost, i got my logan serviced last week, first full paid service, the bill came out to be 5.3k which included wheel alignment and balancing.
Will be updating the bill details shortly |

| Wanted to update the details for the First Paid Servicing i had on 13-08-09
Comparing it with cost of previous service -
Current Total bill Rs 5237
Clutch Cable replaced free of cost as under 2 year warranty.
Engine Oil - Rs 619.56
Diesel Fuel Filter -Rs 1191.11 - went up
Filter oil - Rs 332.44 went up
Cartridge Filter,air Feed - Rs 354.67
Consumables- Service - Rs 250
OCA Brakes - Service Rs 300
Paid Service - Rs 1000 went up
That time i had also got wheel alignment done -
Wheel alignment - went up paid Rs 375 this time
Wheel balancing - went down paid Rs 190 this time
Wheel weights -
35gr - Quantity 3 - Rs 51.63
40gr - Quantity 2 - Rs 32.00
Labor Value - Rs 2115
Spares Value - Rs 2581.41
Service Tax at 10.3% Rs 217.85
Vat @ 12.5% Rs 322.68
