I have fitted the center armrest yesterday. It cost me Rs 1650. First tried to fit the one for Swift and SX4 but those didn't fit. Ultimately I got one that is a universal one. Now I have so much space to keep the cds and other items. Will post pics soon.

Debashis: The armrest make is something called "fashionR". Some popular products of them that I found in various stores are neck support, seart belt support steering cover etc. No existing switch or button needed to be moved. Only while installing, the armrest's position needed to be adjusted as per one's driving comfort. I will post some clearer pics tomorrow. These were taken by my mobile.

4 screws are used to attach the base of the armrest with the handbrake console.

Actully Saumil, the pic was not clear. The top of the armrset consists of Chrome and a bit of leather type material. In the photo only the leather material is seen prominently. So u have a feeling that it is a bit small. In fact it is bigger than the one for SX4/Swift. I have to adjust it for a long before I make sure that it does not obstruct the gear, hand brake as well as the rear window power buttons.
It cost me Rs 1650 and its a universal one and can fit most cars.

Good utility stuff. I am a bit worried about the position of the remote boot opener and the power windows switch. Nayan, how do you operate these now?

The remote boot opener button is not atall obstructed. However the rear power window buttons now have to be manipulated by putting ur arm around the armrest from the back, which is not much of a problem for me because I drive by keeping my seat farthjest from the steering.
