HI Stu, Thanks for your feedback, the guys at service say that if you get it done from outside it will contravene the warranty, as there would be some modifications in the wiring and they themselves dont have the spares. Funny situation.

They are a bunch of idiots. Do not listen to them. Even fitting an aftermarket keyless entry system ("central locking" in general terms) involves modifications in the wiring. But that doesn't hamper the warranty. Obviously, if any aftermarket fitment causes some fault in the wiring of the car, you'll not be able to avail its warranty. It is but obvious. Same goes with the fog lamp.
Go to any accessory shop, they'll fit them for you. I recently inquired about them at a local car accessory shop here, they told me that a universal fog lamp is generally fitted on the Logans. But obviously, unlike the factory system, the switch will be a local one and will be fitted on the lower right hand side on the dashboard. |

My only concern is that a hole will have to be created and i want to make it sure that its done rightly! Since our Logan is a fairly new car, the local aftermarket stores wont really know the proper method which is why i would prefer a conpany guy to do it! Any ways, wen i enquired, i was told that the Swift fog lamps are identical to the Logan originals. Also, the original fog lamps are available @ the service centers. Will enquire the prices and let you know _________________ LOGANIZE!! ;-)

Does your light switch have a place for Foglights front ? Mine are extra I switch on the lights and a bit lower down the arm is another part to twist One twist is the rear Fog and Two Twists are Front and Rear As you know I am an Englishman and we are well known for our thick Fog .Well I have used my Foglights in England and they are very good indeed Cutting the hole will be your least worry .I will have a look later and get a photo up Stu

Warranty voids only happen if you cut any pre-existing wiring. If an independently powered up lamp is fitted that has its own switch direct from battery, shoud not void any warranty

Yes Sturt! Dont really know about the placements in the front bumper and since a Hole will have to be cut through the bumper in the DLE DLX versions, its a bit risky for me!! _________________ LOGANIZE!! ;-)

There is a depression on the bumper for the hole in question, that is not the only worry, the problem according to the service guys is that the circuit for the fog lamps have not been provided in the light stalk, so will have to do what Ashutosh says put an extra switch. The point is when I was negotiating for the variant the Dealers clearly mentioned that the fog lamps can be fitted later, why make promises that u cant keep?
