Hmm, That will then apply to many addons like fog lamps for DLE and other versions that dont have them, I am also thinking of adding light in the Trunk and also in the bonnet. All these will need wiring which obviously isnt existing...

You don't have to worry about the fog lamps as the service center will do that job. The provision is there on the existing stalk. They have to just use the original wiring kit. Anything which is not offered in the topend either as standard or as accessories will lead to tampering. For eg., I fixed the spoiler and though done at the service center, he had to peel the wire leading to the trunk light. Same is the case with audio headunit. If you buy BLAUPUNKT then it can be just plugged in but if it is some other brand then they'll have to peel the wires and connect.

I will go now and have a look in my trunk I will show you where it is fitted (the light)

and you may find the wires very near cos most of the wires exist thats the cheap way for the logan to be fitted out with its extras

Getting the trunk light shouldn't be a problem as with fog lamps but I am not sure about the bonnet light.

Hmm!
We have a similar problem here with rats! Solution shown here is some wax spray. The wax coats every wire, belt and engine with some kinda waxy solution which leaves some scentwhich the rats/cockroaches dont like so they dont come back. It, they say, lasts for a year!!
Costing about Rs. 1000 odd..

Another home made solution i have heard about is, Tobacco (widely available here), wetted and put in some corner or sprinkled under the bonnet, will drive away these menaces...

Hey I, like many others, feel the Logan ORVMs as boring and dull. Also they don't fold properly. But today I have got one live example of how tough these mirrors and how sceintifically well these have been designed, which have made mee feel proud of them. Today I was driving at around 50 kmph, when one Hyundai Verna came from opposite direction at almost the same speed. There was very little space between the two cars and the two car's ORVMs collided with each other. And to my amazement I found the Verna's orvm got detached from the body and fell off instanly on the road. But believe it or not there isn't a single scratch on our Logan's mirror. The mirror remained firmly without bendind a bit. I was so suprised that I literally got down the car and tried hard to find any scratch/dent. Logan rules... man.....Three cheers to it. cheers
