| Hi Loganizers, Haven't anyone thinking of having bigger tyres in one's Logan. The 15'' alloy wheels with tyre dimension of 205/65 R15 will look grea!! Just today I found one black Logan on road with upsized tyres. The alloys are blackish in color. | |

| i was thinking of 15 inchers. but don't how the ride will be. i mean, i'd put upsized 13" wheels with 165/65/R13 accelere rubber in my alto and the ride got totally screwed, eventually had to switch back to 12" inchers.
But i would still think of upsizing once i find a buyer for my current wheels. would go for 205/65/R15 S-Drives!

| Hey Dushie, Do u mean each alloy rim cost 2500 or each tyre. The ceat shop here in Kolkata told me that the 5 tyres (205/65 R 15) along with the alloy rims will cost me 23000 | |

| Subject: Bridgestone MY-01s Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:08 pm | |
| Unsatisfied with the stock JK Vectras' ability in cornering, finally upgraded to Bridgestone MY-01s today. Wanted to go for Potenza GIIIs in 195/65/R14 size, but was unable them anywhere. Many tyre dealers told me that they are now out of production. And that was the only tyre available in this size. So had to come back to the stock size i.e. 185/70/R14. My choices were Michelin Pilot Primacy, Yoko A.drive, A300, etc. But finally chose the MY-01s, liked their tread pattern. And after fitting them and driving for two hours, I was glad that I made this decision. - The steering felt much lighter, more accurate. - The cornering grip has improved a lot. - No decrease in comfort. I went through the same road I take everyday to office, and found no change. Not even on the speed-breakers. - Did not notice any tyre noise. But since, the tyres are new, will have to wait and see. And this is what I wanted.. better grip without sacrificing comfort. Will post a 5000km review and keep you guys updated. This tyre is not officially available in India. Its a grey import and costed me Rs.2400 per piece. Will posted actual pics tomorrow. p.s. mods: shouldn't this thread be in the technical section? | |

| Hey! Ashu!! The new tires seem kewl! Especially the Lighter steering part. I m very keen on sumthin tat lightens the steerin i guess! On the other part, i guess the thread is in the right place cause its direct modification to stock and not any technical mod ! tats my view! I really appreciate your concern and also await the mods and other senior loganizers view on the same! Till Then.... | |

| Considering the Indian roads, 15" is the max you should go. 195/60/R15 is the correct upsize. | |

| even in romania logan have stock whels 185/70/R14, but only for low cost version. rest of all versions have 185/65/15. for 185/65/15 and 195/60/15 you'll need 6Jx15 4x10 rims for 205/55/15 you must have 6,5Jx15 4x10 rims. i use 205/55/16 with 6,5Jx16 4x10 aluminium rims from renault.
i understood that in India roads are not so good, for that my recomandation is to use maxim this dimesnions of tyres: 185/65/15 195/60/15 205/55/15 205/50/16 205/55/16 only for 1.5 diesel
@nayandeep: my first atempt was 205/65 R16 and it's not good! look's like hummer, not fit well and for stearing and clutch it's very heavy!

| of course nayandeep it is a little diference between, 205/55/16 is approximately 1cm taller. 205/50/16 = 185/65/15 .....................205/55/16 and 185/65/15. and here is wight of my tyres. 15" brand new stock summer kormoran..........15" winter tyres kormoran..........16" summer awsome quality good year these renault rims and good year tyres ar history, now i have continental premium contact ...............................and another 16" rims from renault i do not have any pictures with new wheels up to logan | |

| Thanks a lot Cristi. I am told from Michelin Tyres that for India the best upgrade will be 205/60 R 15. What do u think? If I use 205/50/16 does the Indian Logan be able to manage that? | |
