Hyundai thinks the sandero is coming soon to India.. but the clarification from Mahindra-Renault tells us that there are no such plans.

Hope the lawsuit goes on for a spell and gets MR some publicity..

On the contarary i feel Hyundai wants to gain popularity by acting stupid and creating a general misconception with confusion that even if Sandero is being launched people take it as Santro.

It is impossible to mistake one for the other.. Just the size is so different..

Hyundai seems to be very keen to pursue this case.

While not very strong or valid, they may sound logigal in saying that the pronunciation of Santro and Sandero might be similar (if not same) in many parts of the country

If you read between the lines, i am sure the Sandero is coming! Hyundai wont be so immature and file a case against Mahindra Renault unless it has confirmation!

But what about MR's response? Only Renault not us.. that is a strange response.

They obviously wont let the cat out yet.. No official announcement so they wont commit to it. Also, to start with, its easier clearing out the mess at teh time being by sayin so! On the other hand, the sandero is sold all over the world with the same name so i doubt Hyundai's claim will have any impact..

I wonder if Hyundai is actually playing a spoilsport to Renault's party by filing a case and declaring to the market about Sandero's arrival, even before MR (or Renault) is doing it!!!!

This is going to create excitement about the car even before MR declares it and then words start spreading that the build quality is like this.... the plastic wuality is like that... blah blah blah

Hyundai is sure concerned about its i10 & i20 fate with the arrival of Sandero (my view)

Yes they are playing spoilsport.

This will create excitement and rumors that Sandero is arriving. But what if is is never coming. This may give a huge blow with negative impact.

Yes Santro may just be a joker being used. Actual reason could be i20.
