by the way .. have they compared their factory prices to the actual to-customer prices of the others??? I have found the difference in the price listed and the price actually charged absurd...

I agree LL bt i really believe in making more out of positives than negatives! This is a good sign and i believe that something is cooking owing to the low sales. Lets hope Renault is cracking a whip and may change the system further on!

I just heard that Delhi in gearing up for the commonwealth games will be rehashing the entire passenger cab system.. EasyCabs and Meru are supposed to pick up 200 more logans each. Additionally Mahindra is launching their own cab service based on Logans and Boleros..

Dont know if this is true.. but all of this might push down part prices for Diesel and CNG versions even further.. let's see

Thought I would just add my two bit to this debate.; not so much to the spare parts part, but to the service issue part.

Got my second (free) service done last weekend from AMPL (Automotive Mahindra Pvt Ltd), the M-R Agency in Secunderabad. Was quite amazed by their courteousness and positive vibes all over!! Right from the time I called up to book my car, to the time I took delivery, it was a fairly good experience. To the extent, I had forgotten my Free Service coupons book in Delhi. They serviced the car against a payment of Rs 550/- with the caveat that once I turn in the coupon within three days, they would refund the amount - which they promptly did. I was charged only for the filter and engine oil - all told about Rs 640/- odd.

More importantly, it was the general attitude that I was impressing upon - pretty good to say the least....linking it to the issue of Renault cracking the whip?? or genuinenly good attitude.

Yea. Not all Service centers are bad! NBS here in Mumbai as well is good. No doubt they are a company owned and they should

Well my experience with the dealers/service center in Gurgaon (Sterling Motors) has been very positive as well. Delivery was very prompt. I landed up to get my second service done without any prior bookings and after very little coaxing they agreed to do it..although I could see their yard was full of vehicles with prior appointments.

I have expressed this elsewhere in this forum. Re-iterating, my experience with Punjab Motors Ahmedabad has never been bad. It has been consistent right from presales stage, till so far.
They have been extremely responsive. They even pickup the car free of charge from door step for servicing. However one has to go personally to get it back as for theat they say they will not provide drop facility as it involves money transaction and checking the car and providing the sign off on service done.

Well i need to go for the paid service, wondering what the cost difference in this service would be compared to my last free service.

Also does anyone have the revise pricing list of parts -

the one you have is the latest one as per my knowledge. I saw the same rates couple of weeks back in june when i did the second free servicing.

besides this board there is another one which is more of a checklist, which says what must be changed at what kilometers using which cost can be found out.
Also before giving the car for servicing the guy at service center can always prepare an estimated cost sheet for you to approve based on the inputs either you provide or he suggests.
