| i understand and agree with sentiments on this club. i have the same. i am aware and agree that logan has done excellent worldwide. however my brain says fact is far off from our expectations, though my heart says something else. its just a matter of time to decide whether heart wins or brain wins. |

| Honda Jazz enters India.Between 6.98 to 7.33 lacs on road.Excellent machine. But overpriced.Between 5.5 to 6.5 would have been appealing. However it may get its share. We will see in coming days. |

| Had a look at the car. has some novelty value, but overall the price puts me off. As always with Honda, pricey stuff. |

| I voted 'Don't know' because i love the car as a product, but service ruins it. _________________ Trust few. Follow none. Learn from everyone.

| makes me feel happy reading such news. gives me a feel thjat renault may want to launch with nissan this time rather than mahindra. i am sure renault nissan launch will be phenomenal. however we need to actually see the launch happening. lets wait and watch. from real dimension, i want to know what members feel about the fact that if renault launches some new model how does it help the now logan owners? below is what i feel, all are requested to share. 1. credibility of logan increases. 2. chances are renault becomes popular and acceptable. 3. resale value of logan may go up, specially in case if the second model launched does well. |

| i feel if at all they are launching something it should not be Logan or its facelift. Though they may come up with somehting like Megane or Clio or Laguna. Laguna is a very different model and there is nothing in those looks available today. |

| I read a news at http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/2009/06/23/stories/2009062352020100.htm but found that they are focusing on their Chennai plant or infact waiting for chennai plant to get ready, so that they can produce new models from there. This articles does not say anything about Mahindra & Renault JV, may be their nashik plant is over burden or simply they dont want to go forward with Mahindra. Looking by Renault history I am sure they will comeup again either alone or with their sis concern Nissan, god knows what will happen till 2011 (their plant launch prospetive year). I dont see any benefit for current Logan owners except some resale value increase. _________________ 1.5 DCi - DLS (T RED) - Logan Club

| @ezee: you are absolutely correct. nothing goes on mahindra - renault JV. i also get an impression that renault may now be more interested to go ahead with nissan, bajaj JV. even if they do so its good. at least renault stays. again 2011 is too far off. i am not ready to believe that in these times of recession one can plan 2 years ahead. instead of 2011 one should have planned for what now? i seriously feel that the M-R JV is turning out to be a failure. i would say mahindra may not be able to run its own terms with renault and these days mahindra sees itself on top. it launched into 2 wheeler market, it acquired satyam... so mahindra would definitely not be bogged down with renault demands. but in this story they may have overlooked certain realities. |

| Logan will stay with mahindra's. They are serious in promoting it. Mahindra's believe in this product. This is what I now have started to get a feel. I am happy with my logan 1.4, It is value for money, surely is better quality then many other Indian manufactured cars. The driver seat comfort is fabulous along with the placement of steering. The seats are firm. The only thing which I feel is lacking is with the zippy-ness of the engine from the word go, which I think I have got used to driving Japanese and Korean cars. Once one gets used to the Logan engine that to goes away. All in all car is a catch it for me. Now in this short span of owning a Logan what I have faced difficulty is with the dealership. They are not too enthusiastic to sell and not good in after sales. The car one buys might be the car which has been used for test drives. Because of low sales the service advisers are not familiar / or do not have the experience to deal with the car's problems. |
