Smell of Petrol

I am facing a peculiar problem. Whenever I fill up my Logan's petrol tank and if the windows are closed the whole cabin smells of petrol. The smell goes away after some time after I open the windows. This happens only when I fill the petrol tank. Other wise there is no smell of petrol in the cabin even when the windows are closed.

Is this normal?

Hi Guys,

Good to be part of the forum. You guys have helped me select Logan... so here's what it's like after 45 days of purchase.

I've driven 2400 kms in 45 days. have got the first service done at 2100 kms.The car is comfortable to drive in city conditions ( pune ). But better for long drives. The steering is harder than the other car that we have ( Maruti, Alto ), and is also harder that most other cars that i've driven. But am getting used to it and not complaining. As somebody mentioned ...

Despite many people advising me against it, I went for the Logan. One and a half year and 24000 kilometres later, I am happy that I made this decision. I bought the color I wanted, the variant I wanted (the 1.4 GLX wasn't available till then). I bought it for 4.77 ex-showroom/ 5.16 on road.
