Dacia Logan 14MPI Lauriette 14000km
I have driven this car right across Europe. And have never had to visit a workshop.I have never had to add oil either .I fitted my Freshair filter because it has none and the car fills up with dust and stuff without this.
It handels very well and the braking is Very good .I have ABS and for those of you that do not know what ABS is good for .
If you do an emergency stop your brakes will lock and you just just skid down the road with no controll Now if you have ABS your brakes go ON and OFF and you can Steer the car .I have used this in the Winter in snow and ice and it realy works
The Airbags I hope will never get used but I have the pleasure of knowing I have this added protection .The Passenger airbag can be turned off in Case you have a small child in front (which is forbidden anyway in Europe)
I have travelled at speeds of up to 160 KMH on the Autobahn and it is steady But the steering is very positive at these speeds
The paintwork is Very good and the underbody seal is also good
You may notice below the doors in hot weather that sometimes rust prevention stuff seeps out and you see it on the sills
I do not have a AC (I live in a cooler climate)
Yes the window buttons are in a silly place but I can live with that
The seats are very comfortable and the driver seat has a up and down button and also a Back support button (very good indeed)
I have no problem with tyres Mine are Goodyears
The fuel we have to use is Super Petrol that is 98 Octane
I have no funny rattling in the doors allthough this is a problem with some Dacias (I was Lucky)
on whole I have a good car and am pleased that I bought it

He needs a tail lamp. in their Logans, the reverse light is on the right tail lamp, just the opposite of ours. He want to get our type tail lamp, which has the reverse light on the left.. so that he gets reverse lights on both the tail lamps.

i have we broken right reverse tail light! If u want !

Ok here is my Update
Dacia Logan 14 MPI 32000 Km problems with this car from the first Km are the following New wiper Blades needed (Old ones are cheap and useless)
Pollen enters the car (Fitted my own filter )
Fuel consumption is OK
Handling is OK
Paintwork is VERY GOOD
OIL Consumption is None
Seats after 32000km are still like new
Tyres still good But I do use two pairs a year Ie Winter and Summer
Clutch is Ok
pick up is Ok for a 14oo engine
so on whole
IF anyone is thinking about buying a Logan you will not do wrong with this car Be it from Mahindra Dacia or wherever its made 90 Percent of your parts are from RENAULT and this name speaks for its self

Today i have been and had my Winter tyres fitted .The winter is slowly coming down to us here in the Black Forest and I dont want to be caught short ! It is Law in Germany to put on your Winter tyres and a good law too
